Summit County Public Health Order Expires February 11, 2022

Although the mask mandate for 2-11 year olds will no longer be in effect, SCPH supports Summit School District and childcare centers and home providers in their decision to continue following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE) industry guidance to continue requiring masks for now.  All Head Start programs are required to continue masking. The industry guidance and Head Start requirements are an effort to preserve in person learning. The guidance for these industries will be updated soon as COVID-19 cases decline and the transition from pandemic to endemic evolves. SCPH will continue to support schools and childcares through cases and outbreaks.

COVID-19 will be here to stay and surges and outbreaks from future variants are expected to persist.  SCPH will continue to strongly recommend wearing a well-fitted, high-quality mask in crowded indoor spaces to help curb outbreaks, especially during times of high transmission. Masks play an important role in limiting transmission of the virus and protecting the immunocompromised.  SCPH supports any business that implements their own mask policies.

The current public health order expired at 11:59 p.m. on February 11, 2022.

When vacationing at Swan Mountain Resort we also ask that you:

  • Practice frequent hand washing and hand sanitizing

  • Maintain physical distance to help protect unvaccinated persons

  • Travel with your own masks should you require one at any time during your stay

  • Understand the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk of exposure

  • Seek medical treatment and/or testing should you experience symptoms

Staff is reinforcing all sanitation procedures. We are sanitizing high-traffic areas at an increased frequency and have implemented required hand washing procedures and health screenings. Our priority is the safety and health of our Owners, Guests, and Staff.
